Men's Championship Weekend Oct. 21-22, 2006

The Men's Club Championship will be held the weekend of October 21-22, 2006. Below are details for the event.

When: Playing Rounds 10/21 & 10/22, 2006- Tee times-TBD
Practice Round- 10/20

Entry Fee: $25 plus daily cart fees. Payout will be as follows:
1. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in A and B Divisions (60/30/10)
2. 1st & 2nd in C Divisions Flights (60/40)

Format: Stroke Play- 36 holes

Entry Levels: “A” Division - Men’s Club Championship – 18 years and older, Black Tees

“B” Division - Senior Club Championship – 50 years and older, Blue Tees

“C” Division - Individual Flight Championships- 18 years and older, Blue

Explanations:

This year before you play you must either select A, B, or C playing status upon registration with the pro shop. You will then compete within that status of competition and will not qualify for anything outside that status. For example, if you are 51 and playing in the A status field and have the lowest two rounds of any senior golfer, you cannot claim the Senior championship title because that is the B status field.

All golfers in the Individual Flight Championship (C Status) will be pre-flighted according to handicap and will stay within their flight over the two rounds. Number of flights to be determined by number of entries for C status. 8 golfers per flight.

After day one of competition, previous day score will pair groups for day two competition.

In the event of ties within the A, B, or C divisions, there will be a sudden death play off on the 18th Hole. Sudden death will be stroke play. If there are any ties after first sudden death hole, play will continue to #1 hole and continue on to the sequential holes until a winner is decided.

Local Rules:

Distance measuring devices of any type will be allowed for this event. Sharing distances with your competitor is not a violation of any rules. 8-1/2 Exchanging Distance InformationInformation regarding the distance between two objects is public information and not advice.
