Member Guest 2007 Information, Registration May 12th at Clubhouse

Dear Lake Chesdin MGA Members,

I am pleased to invite you and your guest to the 2007 Lake Chesdin MGA Member Guest tournament on June 7th-9th, 2007 with title sponsorship provided by Chesdin Realty. The committee’s main goal this year is to bring you another stellar event in 2007!

The golf tournament format will once again be Team Best Ball Net with each team playing five nine hole matches with teams within their flight. The team with the most points within their flight will then advance to a three-hole shoot out with other flight winners to determine the Member Guest 2007 champions. There will a Hole in One prize on each of the par 3s for the first 18 holes on Friday and Saturdays 18 holes. Last year, we had a hole in one on Saturday and we will be ready for another one this year!

The nights will be as action packed as the days. Here is a taste of what will be going on each evening starting on Thursday night.

Thursday Night (June 7th) Sponsored by Jim Beam Brands
· Men’s night out. Teams along with major sponsors will enjoy an evening of male bonding and tournament preparation.
· New Putting Contest
· Calcutta auction for all teams by flight.
· Golf Casual (Golf Shirts, Shorts, Slacks-No Jeans)

Friday Night (June 8th) Sponsored by Absolut Vodka
· Bring your partner along with your spouse(s) or significant other(s) to the Absolut martini night.
· Our own version of Casino Royale. We will have black jack tables, craps, roulette, and Texas Holdem for your “entertainment value.”
· Golf Casual (Golf Shirts, Shorts, Slacks-No Jeans)

Saturday Night (June 9th) Championship Gala
· This year we will have a Saturday night to remember with awards presentations for the three days to be following with DJ music and dancing by the 18th hole.
· Nice Casual (No Shorts, No Jeans)





The cost of this year’s event is $600 per team. This includes practice and playing rounds, continental breakfast on Friday and Saturday mornings, heavy appetizers on Thursday, heavy appetizers for players and dates on Friday night, and dinner for players and dates on Saturday night. All sponsored beer, sponsored alcohol, sponsored non-alcoholic beverages, and sponsored wine will be free during the event. Any other beverages will be charged to the member’s account. Each team player will also receive tournament appreciation gifts upon registration on Thursday. You won’t be disappointed!

There are three ways to pay for your team in 2007. They are as follows:

1. Paying with check. Checks are to be made payable to “Lake Chesdin Golf Club” or “Lake Chesdin MGA” and submitted with completed registration form.
2. Billing directly to your account.
3. Cash

Registration:

This year registration will be held on Saturday, May 12th, 2007 at the clubhouse from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you cannot make the Saturday registration, you may drop off your registration form with payment at the clubhouse prior to May 12th and leave it for Tim Seaton’s attention or you can have someone be your proxy and bring your registration with payment on Saturday, May 12th. We will fill the first 54 slots and 2 alternate positions. We expect a complete sellout, so if you want to participate, you probably want to make sure your there early on Saturday. If all spots are not filled by noon on the 5/12/2007, an email will be mailed out on May 14, 2007 notifying all MGA members on how many spots are left. Any registration after 5/12 will have to be sent or deliver to Tim Seaton at 8842 Torrey Pines Drive, Chesterfield VA, 23832. No entries by phone, email, or faxes and there will be no exceptions.

IMPORTANT: Once we fill the 54 teams & 1 alternate slot, the field is closed. In the case, we do not fill the field on Saturday, registering after May 12th does not guarantee you a spot in the field. Field will be filled in according to date the entry was received. N

Cancellation Policy: Any paid team may cancel before May 25, 2007 without penalty and entry fee will be credited/returned. Any cancellation after 5/31/2007 will only be refunded if there is an alternate team to make the field whole again.
